After the heavy down pour experienced in February and March around Perth, it was identified that additional drainage would be required in the long term for the new road and car park under construction at Lumen Christi College.
Given the high clay content in the ground, conventional soak wells could not be used, so larger swales had to be constructed to take the volume of water expected.
The three main staff carparks have now been asphalted and are very close to handover for the client.
The main access entrance road will soon be ready to be asphalted including the main bus turnaround that will be used to drop off and pick up the students.
We look forward to finishing off this project for another great client and seeing the school make full use of this new access.
